Isandes Bolivia Tours, supporting the children of Bolivia, is a company with more than 7 years in the tourism field, operated by the same owners. Isandes takes action to join PACK FOR A PURPOSE, and be able to reach more children. Previously, in a particular way, we always collaborated with orphanages and populations with school supplies for low-income children. Now we want to do more.
Pack for a Purpose does not condone visiting orphanages, as this can have negative consequences for children. The accommodation or travel company working with the orphanage will deliver the supplies in a coordinated and respectful manner so that the children can benefit from them. Your generosity will not be diminished by not interacting with children.
Isandes Bolivia Tours supports the children of the town of Challapampa, (Lake Titicaca), with toys and sometimes notebooks, but the ones we bring are not enough, leaving many of them with nothing ;( we would like you to support us with your donations and stationery for the children. There are approximately 80 children. Our staff brings these donations only once a year, which is in December, so that they have a full Christmas. We would like it to be 3 times a year to support them with school supplies.
Isandes Tours supports Help Bolivia Foundation’s Villa Ingenio Programs, which are a Therapy Through Play Program for 50 children on Saturday afternoon and a Tuesday morning education support program for 10 children, all in the Villa Ingenio neighbourhood of El Alto, Bolivia,. Many of the children come from single parent families. All are very poor and require much needed education support and nutrition.
